Healthcare has never suffered from a lack of data. It has suffered from a lack of intelligence — analytics infrastructure that couldn't integrate across incompatible systems, insights that were delivered too late to drive decisions, and AI tools built by people who didn't understand the difference between a prior authorization and a prescription claim.

We founded Nightingale to solve that problem — not by building a better dashboard, but by building a fundamentally different kind of firm: one where healthcare expertise is not a specialty practice inside a larger technology business, but the entire reason for our existence.

Florence Nightingale did not save lives with compassion alone. She walked into the Barrack Hospital in Scutari armed with data — mortality tables, sanitation records, and the famous polar area diagram that changed how governments thought about military medicine. She understood something that took the world decades to fully appreciate: that in healthcare, the most powerful clinical intervention available is the right information, in the right hands, at the right moment.

We exist to deliver that intervention — at the scale, speed, and sophistication the 21st century demands.

At Nightingale, we believe that the power of data analytics carries with it a profound responsibility: to illuminate disparities, not perpetuate them.

We audit our algorithms for differential performance across demographic groups. We advocate for data collection practices that capture the populations healthcare has historically underserved. And we design analytics solutions that help our clients understand — and act on — the social, economic, and structural factors that drive health outcomes outside the clinic.
